I can confirm this. Yes it does shut off the AC when you go WOT.

Infact this functionality is replicated in the AEM EMS. You set a throttle position where the AC turns off.

Thx Aus, after it was mentioned it sorta made sense that they would do that. I guess all cars have this feather?

^but sometimes it wont- results in compressor bearings blowing the fkkkk up. Happened to my friends lude. so whenever I take it to 9, I always turn off AC manually - JUST in case.
