i came from a civic and for some reason, i find it driving the S...the engine is loud...like you can hear it. i dont have an intake or anything...but i do have a drop-in k&n. it came with the car when i bought it.

my civic, i had an arc box and that thing was quiet. all you heard was air sucking in like a turbo. i loved that thing.

Yeah, its loud and normal.

 

its probably you...when I got mine I thought the same thing. Even went as far as going to Honda, having a tech ride with me and he said it was fine. He did mention a valve adjustment....but I think he was just trying to get somethin outta me.

Do some research on the TCT issue perhaps, but I'd estimate you are fine.
