Loud noise when leaving my garage
Sup everyone.
Every time I leave my garage this is what happens:
1) Start the engine and let it run for like 20 seconds
2) Clutch down, put it in 1st
3) Ease off the clutch, and give it a little gas
4) Then I hear this loud noise pop from underneath my car
This noise never happens again when i'm out of my garage. I can be in any parking lot, parked for hours, start my car again and never hear this happen.
What could it be? any ideas?
Maybe my tires are gripping my garage floor and making the noise? I only drive it once a week. Too much power since the engine just started after a week?
Thanks everyone

I just tried the same process again, since I took it out 2 hours ago. Now it did not make the noise.
I'm guessing the tires are just gripping the garage ground when it's not driven for a week causing the sudden forward thrust....

did u just wash the car? ur rotors can rust and get stuck to the pads, and when u initially move, they 'break' apart with a POP

Sounds typical. After washing the car or letting it sit with the e-brake on the pads get "stuck" to the rotors. The noise is the pads breaking free from the rotors when you start moving.
