Default Low Battery Warning Indicator and Ticking Sound

AP2v2 (mostly stock) that just started to notice that for seconds my low battery light on the dash will come one intermittently for a few seconds and then turn back off.
- I've only noticed the light come on @ low speed braking (coming to a red light or stop sign) with engine speed decelerating
- Alternator was replaced a few months ago with a new one from Autozone (rated at or above what Honda OEM alternator specs) when the Honda alternator went bad
- Battery and Alternator checked at Autozone today and "working" according to thier tester
- Leads (not sure what they are called) are secured to post and do not slip with mild to moderate pressure
- Battery is secured (OEM solution)

Not sure if this is related, but today I noticed that when I turn the key to the ON position (car still off) there is a consistent ticking sound.
- It appears to come from the engine bay, drivers side, and somewhere on the top portion (not bottom)
- If I had to guess, I would say near the Valve cover
- Haven't been able to identify it though
- The above was noted when car was "cold", hadn't been moved for a few days (was doing track prep).

No Cell lights noted.
