Default Low Cold Idle Speed

Ok i was just wondering what the problem with my car is. The cold idle speed is around 1000 RPM. What would cause this? Could it be the ECT? btw i have K&N fipk and a 70 mm skunk 2 Throttle body. Could the throttle body be the cause of the low idle speed. Its always been like this since i got the car. In the summer and this is my first winter with the car and im pretty sure that the idle speed should be around 2000RPM.

Idle at 2000rpm??? Nuh-uh...

800-1000rpm idle is normal. In the winter it may rev a bit higher like to 1200rpm.

Mine never has...but then there may be a different mapping for "OMG it's fawking cold" in Canada compared to north Florida's "it's a bit nippy".

Mine idles around 2000-2200 when first start up, after 30 seconds it goes around to 1800 until fully warm.

yeah at start up it may idle at the two grand mark for a minute but it does usually drop to 1000 idle. throttle cable could be too tight also (if consistently idling high), previous owner may have tightened the slack for improved throttle response...
