Can anyone help me with some guidance? Would it even be worth spending money on an air compressor and leak down tester to try and get it fix, should I think about swapping it with a fresh motor and sell my current, or just drive it till it dies?
Also if valve clearances are all in check now will it still get worse?

Thanks

Know a reliable mechanic in your neck of the woods? Any good one should be able to do a leak-down for a nominal charge.

Is the knocking constant? If not the comp specs alone would not have me worry too much. 180 is still plenty strong. If it runs good, drive it.

Quoted $95 from a pretty good friend's shop. Not sure if thats fair or not but I think I'll just go get a gauge and small air tank...
