You could make your own punch from a bolt. Find a bolt that has the same diameter, or slightly smaller as the bolt your removing, then punch the mofo out.

punch it w/ what, a hammer or a tool designed for it? Not too much room to swing down there since I have it up on jackstands. I've already used both a hammer and an air hammer.

Did you squirt them with PB Blaster...some oil to penetrate the rust? Might help it slide out.

Not sure if there is room...but might be able to attach a slide hammer to the bolt to get it to come out.

i'll try some propane i guess. i'm just worried about the brake lines and the steering rack, since I've never used propane before. Any tips on how to best use the propane?

The punch is for when the end of the bolt is flush with the bushing. Apparently, you haven't got the bolt that far through.
