Lower Control Arm Problems
I know exactly what you are talking about, it will be very difficult to remove.
You have to cut enough rubber away to expose the collar that was once the a-arm bushing. If you use an air hammer, and use it up and down the collar at 12, 3, 6, and 9oclock for 30 second each, the collar will grow enough to allow the bolt to come out. I've done this about 3 times on the s2k front a-arm.
A saw-zaw will be a challenge because of the clearance, even I would not use it and I have one.

how should i cut away the rubber? looks like that would be harder to accomplish than to cut the metal in half
I don't see how I could cut the rubber enough or rotate the bushing to hit it every 1/4 turn if the bushing doesn't even move. it's not split in the rubber piece like the other busing.
