Hello all. Newbie here. I am in the market for an S2000. I am really close on a purchase of one in which an old lady seems to have hit a bit ass rock. Is this something I can fix? The persons in the above example seem to have really twisted that piece. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks! Hopefully introductions will be proper if I end up picking this one up. Thanks all in advance for the assist

 

You can put a long prybar through the bottom hole, and straighten it right out. I have done it countless times.

 

Oh wow I never responded back in this thread. Thank you for your reply @Billman250 ! I ended up not getting this example. it went for 15k at the auction. Too much for me! But I did find one on craigslist, that has been going pretty good. I should post in the intro thread. Seems I need a few more posts, to be able to PM you for the Billman TCT
