Please explain your logic to me. It makes absolutely no sense.

I agree, I dont want to spend that much on coilovers. I am however opening up to the idea of just biting the bullet on the Konis. I think if I buy used springs, either Espelir or KG/MM race, and used Konis I will be able to get it done for 575. So as of right now, thats my plan.

What kind of life span fo Koni's have?

I will refrain from calling you an idiot and just say that this is an idiot statement.

I have lowered my S2000. I footed the bill on the "hack job". Not only does the car look much better, but both the ride and handling are vastly improved. After installing Koni shocks and KG/MM Super Sport springs, I now have two more methods of adjusting my suspension.

Do some research. Educate yourself a bit. Learn something. Don't be so closed minded. People won't think you are an idiot if you do so.

Garrett,

I would not worry about the lifespan on the Konis. I am on my 4th set on as many cars over about 14 years. Each set has been outstanding. I have never come close to wearing a set out. They have a lifetime warranty. If you wear them out, they will rebuild/replace them for free.

So buying a used set isnt a problem? Is the warrantee transferable? If not, I suppose I could ship them back to the original owner and have him have the warrantee work done. Someone has KG/MM Race springs with Koni's for 550. If the potential buyer flakes I will pick them up, otherwise I will have to buy them seperate, and will consider Espelir springs also. I think theyre the exact same drop.

I try not to buy anything used unless I am certain of the condition of the item I am buying and I am getting a great deal. Considering my set up cost me around $1100 after installation and an alignment, it sounds like a great price.

If they are in good shape, I don't ever see you needing any warranty work done.
