My maintiance light started flashing this morning when i turned on the car im thinking its most likely a tune up my car has 44,600 miles

There's your problem. You can't use the SEARCH function if you can't spell "maintenance...."


Check your oil and your tire pressure.































Not that those have anything to do with your flashing light, but if you're such an uber-noob to post that question you probably do need to check your oil and tire pressure.....

just reset it. even manual shows

 

I'll be the nice guy. Your maint req' light blinks every 7k miles i believe so. so as long as you have done all the required: oil, oil filter, air filter. etc. just reset it and you're good to go. there's a sticky on how to reset it, try to memorize it.
