Maintenance of bushings
I was just wondering if anyone lubes or greases any of the car's bushings (be it swaybar, control arm etc) to help them from drying out and extend their life.
My S has pretty low mileage but I know bushings dry out over time and break.

I think it would be pretty difficult to get whatever rubber revitilization goop one might use for such a thing into all the important parts of the bushings, since when mounted they are so covered up.
If its thick you can't get the stuff in there. If its thin enough to spray, its probably not very effective, not going to 'soak in'.
If there was a spray on product, that revitalized rubber, giving back elasticity and preventing dry rot/cracking, that would possibly be worth attempting to add a maintenance task of spraying it on like once/year.
I don't know of such a product though.
