If my car produces that much oil I will need to empty the bottle every six months ot be safe. For another 3 dollars I should of bought two more fittings to make an outside fill gauge.

What is the purpose of an oil catch can? Please don't say to catch the oil.

which brand of inline filter are ya'll picking up?

I picked up an AMFLO 3020-RET... but it's heavy, top heavy. The top piece is aluminum I think... I am not sure how to mount it so that it's stable due to the weight.

don't forget to remove this piece from inside. You'll need to unscrew the white cylinder to get it out.

It keeps the valvetrain vapor(which is oily) from gumming up your intake runners which eventually lead to carbon deposits on the valves.

Forgive the ignorance, but where do you buy a small canister with filter like that? Does it come with the fittings? I like that idea a lot, but I have no idea where to buy something like that. I assume that the canister has a filter built into it?

Thanks for the help guys, for less than or around $20 I would love to make one....and it certainly seems easy enough put together and install.
