I recently got the car 2003, everything is fine, mechanic said everything is all good,and clean carfax.

What is with the chalked in X on the block, has anyone seen this before, or am I just being overly cautious?

 

X marks the spot.. might just be nothng

carfax sucks. . if u never report something .. carfax will never know.. i

know of places that repair a car ( body work) but if the body shop doesnt report the info or the owner doesnt report it.. carfax will never know. .

 

It just bothers me its a one owner car 2003 with 13k mileage. I have never seen this before on a motor..

 

Mechanics mark the engine so they know where crap goes. Thats a random spot though. Usually rookie mechanics do this. Thats what could have happened

everytime i overrev my car i mark my engine with an x just like that, in that exact place

 

Maybe if you dig where x marks the spot you will find trejarrr!

 

 

I love how you guys make me feel so comfortable with the humor, I guess if the engine blows I have a warranty
