Master Cylinder is Leaking

They also leak through the cap if the level is too high. I found that if I fill just slightly below the top line, it wont leak through the cap.

true....

I usually find them leaknig under the dash. You'll see a drip sitting on the back of the master under the dash where the pushrod goes into it.

If you haven't changed your clutch fluid, go look now

I changed the fluid in the clutch master about 8k miles ago. If it were to spring a substantial leak, the fluid would eventually find it's way onto the carpet.
