Redline has other engine oils better suited for IC engines in automobiles. I suggest that you contact Redline to ask them before you use it in your car.

Typically motorcycle oils are lacking the friction modifiers that automotive oils contain to prevent the wet clutch setups on most bikes from slipping. Our engines can benefit from these friction modifiers in the form of less wear and better gas mileage. Mc specific oils tend to be more expensive too, so I would just use oils for what they are designed for.

 

I use to add 2 qts of 10/40 M1 motorcycle oil to 4 qts of M1 0/30 for added zinc and phos(did this for 40k miles).
Now I run 3 qts of Mobi1 1 R 0/50(the new stuff)and 3 qts of AFE 0w-20(the newest SN stuff).
Moly is up over 600 with Zink and Phos about 1200 and Cal up to about 1700 or a little more.

Thats true that motorcycle oil works better for high rpm engines like the R6 that red lines at over 16k. They can do this because the oil is made to keep the parts from scoring at those high rpms and zinc and phos are just two things that help with high rpm engines.
