I have a Mishimoto in my BB6 Prelude and in my AP1. The radiator caps have functioned flawlessly. As for the install, make sure you get enough teflon tape on the drain plug and the fan switch to do the job. The drain plug has an o-ring but don't trust it. It really sucks to put everything together and see little drips a couple days later and have to drain the new coolant out and take it all apart again. Especially if the switch is whats leaking. All the tabs lined up on mine, too.

Does anybody know if the airbox needs to come out for the install?

I did remove the fans first , and then the oem radiator. I am thinking there is not enough room for the new one with the fans attached prior to putting it in.

Thanks again!

yeah the air box sits over one of the fan mounting bolts, so yes the air box should come out , easy enough to do.

Pull the air box, install the fans, fan switch, and drain bolt on the new rad and drop the rad it into place, then put the air box back in when you wish.

I think I put my mishimoto in when the stock airbox was on but Im not 100%, it was a while ago. If it has to come out it is only a few bolts.

Use honda type 2 coolant imo.

make sure you bleed the system out.

and basically what everyone else said

I used about 70% distilled water, 25% radiator fluid and a bottle of wet wetter.

That is perfectly fine for us in Florida, but I would run majority coolant since you are in Ohio (where it actually gets cold)

Also flush out the the new radiator with a hose before you put it in. I washed a large lump of lint out of the one I put on my Prelude. It looked like while they were polishing it, the buffer wheel made a few passes over the lower hose connection and shaved off a bunch of buffing pad and polishing compound. That crap would definately stopped up the heater core or maybe clogged the water pump.
