Has anyone tried this new product from Mobil/1?

I think this oil is a direct replacement for the Tri-Synthetic blend. If I understand it right, Mobil is converting all their synthetics to this new additive that some drag racers had used. So if you like Mobil 1, then this is the oil for you.

Just did a change with it today. My S just turned the 15K mark and I thought she could use some new blood. I didn't notice any change on the drive back from the shop as I V tec'd a 325 I going way too slow in the left lane. I'm betting it's a "marketing" change. Ya know you have to keep making your product new with added advantage or the image gets stale. I'm also betting it is as good as any of the other top grade synths.

Well, you can determine the accuracy of Mobil1's claims by their commercials. They show you the cylinders lighting up on every stroke at each piston, instead of every other. I guess their oil is made for 2-strokers.
