Default Moog sway bar end links rubbing on shock tower

Hi all,

Replaced all my suspension and I bought Moog End links for the front. Reassembled the coilovers and they are rubbing against the shock tower (Yes I know the brake line goes on the right of the coilover). Rears are okay, but this creates a problem for me because I am trying to set the preload on my suspension. I don't have the OEM ones anymore, must have tossed them. I already bought some new ones from Rock Auto (proforged). I wanted to know if anyone else ran into this?

You've tried flipping the endlink around?....

And switching it to the other side....

Yep. I thought I was stupid. But no, they actually don't fit. Coilovers aren't that much different in size from OEM suspension right? I bought the car with coilovers...

Is it only on one side?

is the bar bent or shifted?

Coilovers may or may not be the same size as OEM shocks. Mine are quite a bit fatter, but still fit fine.

Is it an aftermarket bar?

Both sides the links rub the coils and it's an oem sway bar. The rear Moog links are fine. I think it's because it is a different design.

The sway bar doesn't look bent.

Is the picture taken with suspension in close or full preload?
Those end links doesn't seem that big, weird that they could cause such big clearance problem.

It's a close up. The suspension barely has any preload. So as I compress the coil futher, it will rub more on the coil.

Those end links were made for cars with oem shocks, which are a lot slimmer than what you have there.

Find a different brand end link.

Yeah I just bought a set of proforge. They'll be here in a few days.
