Hey everyone.

Its been 3 week since i got my s2k and i enjoy every second driving it. I would like the car to make more noise thought. I have take off the top of the airbox and the sound is good but i can definatively say that i have loose some hp.

I know that a CAI would help but i just pay 100$ for a k&n filter and the AEM CAI is like 500$ here in canada.

I have 2 question :

1- Is there anyway to have a deeper sound without buying an exhaust or a CAI? I dont have much money to put on the car....

2- Is it possible to only buy the tubing of a CAI and fit the air filter on it?

To answer question 1, you could try resonated exhaust tips, or new mufflers. THe tips are around US$20 and cheap mufflers(makes more noise than power) are US$90-$150 each.
To answer question 2, you should call AEM directly and ask if you can just buy the tubing, I know the system they sell includes the air filter. You could also go the route of making your own CAI for around US$60. I only spent $20 and I got a great sounding, effective CAI using the stock intake tubing. Good luck on your mods.

We just had a Canadian GB on the AEM a while back. $375.00 Can. to your door. I just got mine today. Contact Tam S2. He initiated the GB. Here's the link so you can see and also so you can PM TamS2. He knows someone who sells these in Toronto. Maybe he can look into it for you. Can't guaranty you'll get it at this price now, though. Good luck.
