Default Motor Block question

Hello
I have a question, I have to get out before few days that my honda s2000 a replaceable motor has not F20C because it F22c. you know how the number of the engine block is the f22c? pcx-1 is with me is that right? a question I still have my s2000 turns to 9000 rpm, but it may be that the engine control unit nor the F20C's inside?
thank you

Hello,
I believe in Germany, most years (and perhaps every year) use the F20C motor.

Can you be more specific on your model year? If your tachometer has the redline at 9000 you have a F20C

You have an AP1 with an F20C.

Straight replacement is another F20C.

But many have replaced with F22C without a problem.

If your motor is an f22c and the pcm/ecu is the correct f22c one then your motor will NOT turn to 9000. If the dash says it is, then it is probably out of calibration because it was built for an f20c.
