Hey all
Can anyone tell me if mounting the VAFC in this location will render the little compartment useless?

I had a look at the position of that door and it looks like it will hit the back of the apexi unit when you go to open it...

 

Yes it will hit. That is where I have my VAFC II located and it's a pain to either open or close the cup holder door. Actually you can only operate the door by moving the VAFC up at an angle. If you have another location I would highly suggest using it.

go with the visor mount, very clean way to install and out of the way when not in use. Save the little compartment for the EDFC
