Mr. Ultimate Lurker, please read...
Hey, I wanted to email/PM you, but you have all that turned off. There are some things that I would like to discuss with you. Send me an email to gregstevens@ameritech.net ... even though I do know who you are, I will keep your desire for privacy and confidentiality.
Thanks!
Thanks!
I noticed that he turned it all off too. He really seems to know his stuff and I was meaning to ask him a technical question... that's probably why he turned it off (?)
Mr. Lurker, you are definitely an asset to this forum. Keep on posting!ü

smccurry,
That's exactly why I turned it off. In the past, on other boards, I ended up getting inundated with emails. I don't mind answering them, but it began to get difficult to keep up and I didn't want to be rude (plus, there are a lot of people ou tthere who know more than I do). So now I just don't provide that option to people. Questions must be asked on the board, so people tend to choose their words and questions carefully, which saves time and benefits everyone.

Humble, but not entirely true

Makes perfect sense. Replying to e-mails would only take away from your posting time.
