ok to add to this post i have a k&N filter, but i have TRD cleaning kit I am assuming i am fine on using this i just wanted to make sure that i can clean with that if anyone is familiar with that cleaning kit let me know thanks, I have it in my garage and don't want to spend unnessecary money

I have the Mugen kit - the filter used to be made by K&N but now it is made by a company called aFe which is identical to the K&N. I also use the K&N recharger cleaning kit.

 

Been using theK&N kit a year now without any problems
