I believe harder bushings prevents the joints, trans, engine to bounce/jump/move as much. I'm not sure of the benefits but I think the car feels more stable at jerky motions or hard cornering. Esp. the engine mount, I believe it bounces a lot when you're going over bumps since it's so heavy. There will be less movement btw. the parts you listed after you install them. Afterall, it's quite expensive for the minor improvements. Correct me if I'm wrong, this is just my interpretation.

they attach said parts more sturdily to the frame, meaning less movement of the suspension pieces in relation to the frame of the car. Gives a more solid driving platform.

Got it! It was the lateness of the hour when I read it. I should have guessed you meant "bushings". I think the stock bushings on this car are already better than your average ones found on "ordinary" cars. Bushings do where down with time and make adjustments of suspension, etc necessary and more difficult. That's NOT to say that replacing them with stock parts isn't a good enough route to go. I'm assuming that an aftermarket set as you mentioned would be made of sturdier material that would last longer before wearing down but the difference between that and the stock stuff may not be noticeable and thus the cost may not be justifiable. If it were not an S2000, I might say it would be of benefit worthy of the cost. Replacing all the bushings is a tedious and labour intensive job. Some of the ones that this kit replaces may never be replaced under normal car ownership. If you are "building" this car up for competition, then that's a different story.
I'm thinking that most car bushings are made of rubber. An aftermarket set like this would most likely be made of neopreen (sp?) or some other such high tech material, making for less "schlopp" in all those moving parts, thus more precise control of those parts' movements. How much "less" for an S2000? This is hard to say. Is it worth it? That's up to you. I think for 99% of us - NO. The tires themselves induce more play than all the bushings put together. A bad set of tires would do way more harm than a Mugen set of bushings would benefit.
