You have so many questions with extra punctuation, regardless the mugen intake is a good choice it makes power at speed supposedly due to a ram air effect, the j's also does this in a very similar way. The arc has lost hp on a few dynos i have seen, i personally run the aem v1 intake. Its cheap and makes about 3 or 4 hp on the dyno.
I have a copy of the Mugen and it works well. On a dyno the Mugen and J's will not show a gain (well maybe a small one but I doubt it), they are designed to work at speed and thats something a dyno can't duplicate.
I would think that the J's and Mugen work about the same at speed, but on the take off the advantage would go to J's due to the air chamber section of their intake was designed to reduce that low end bog that is typical with most intakes.
ARC owners have claimed noticable gains though dynos have shown power losses due to heat soak.
Good luck!
