There is another heat shield right there (the one you take off to get the header in and out)... it might not be as beefy... but it still deflects.

I never ran the heat shield on mine... just wondering. I went for the bling bling factor.

It is recommended to use the heat shield to reduce heat to the rest of the engine bay.

I love everything u have done to that car its exactly what I want to do. how big of a difference did the headers make? yea I love the front spoiler to I agree u do have great tast. have u ever took your car and seen what it runs at the QM? I would love to know. but I just thought I would tell u I love what u done and nice thread.
