Default MUGEN NZ SUSPENSION

Hi, i recently picked up a set of mugen nz suspension for my s2k. the instructions i found on them are in japanese. anybody have the english version or know where i can get it. or does anybody know how to adjust it? if i turn the screw on top counterclockwise all the way is that the softest setting? also when i compare them to my stock susp it looks to be about 2'' shorter. can someone explain how to adjust the ride height on them(where i should be measuring from). sorry for all the noob questions. Thanks.

The way I adjust height is very time consuming, and basically requires the suspension to be uninstalled. Remove the upper arm and unbolt the suspension from the LCA. Then, simply loosen the black lock nut at the bottom of the damper and turn the the gold sleeve (which attaches to the LCA) up or down. Then tighten the lock nut when you're finished and reinstall.

To measure height- find a flat surface and measure from the jack pads to the ground. That's the most accurate place I've found to meausre from. Remember, each time you adjust height you're going to need an alignment.

I think the screw at the top takes 4 revolutions (of 360 degrees) to be full soft. Each time I adjust at the top, I tighten that screw until it stops at the stiffest setting. Then, since the screw has a smooth adjustment, I count in full revolutions until I achieve a setting I'm confortable with.
I am about 99 percent sure that you don't have to take off the suspension to adjust the "strut" height, with the two spring perch locked together, turning it with a wrench lower/raise the whole thing, it's free spinning with help of a spanner wrench(instead of taking everything off)

measuring jack point to the ground will throw you off most of the time, most garage are graded(at least in US) and tire pressure, tire profile will throw off measurement. the proper way to measure static height is by measuring the center of the wheel(aka center cap) to the top fender in a vertical motion. That way you don't have to deal with difference in tire profiles, air in the tires, or how level the garage is,etc.

alignment is a must after height change, the tire eating toe change when the car is dropped, etc.
