Default Mugen Pedals

I had a set of Mugen Pedals which I bought 14 years ago. I first installed them in my CRX, then in my Porsche 924S, and finally in my S2000. They are the same model just pricier. When I bought them then they cost $90, now they cost $175.

You have to remove the stock pedal covers on the brake and clutch. Use an electric drill to hollow out the rivets, and the Mugens will fit like a glove. I can reuse the stock pedals by bolting them back in place. Do not drill out the gas pedal, the Mugen gas pedal will fit over the stock one, that's because this pedal has an enclosed back, so drilling out the rivets will not help.

Just a thought to those who thought about it but were not sure. I sent a note to King Motorsports about installation and received no reply, so I spec'ed this out myself.

What did you do about the foot pad on the far left? I've thought about using the Mugen kit, but didn't want to have a foot pad that looked so different from the Mugen stuff.

Did you replace it or modify it?

Thanks

I left the dead pedal alone. I really like the grip, whatever Mugen uses for the grip lasts. I can't belive they are 15 years old.

I've got some on my 4th gen and they kick ass. They don't slip at all even when your shoes are wet.
