Mugen Radiator Cap

I just purchased a Mugen Radiator Cap. In order for it to be fully tightened on is has to be turned a touch further than the stock radiator cap. Is this OK? Does this happen to any of you with the Mugen cap?? Thanks in advance...

Yup it does turn a bit further then stock.
Mine is the same
