Default Is my block labeled wrong?

I have ordered all my new parts for my engine build but was waiting until I dissesembled it to order my OEM bearings. Everything looks good and in order HOWEVER the stamps on the block to identify the crankshaft bore code seems to be missing a letter. Am I wrong????? What am I missing??? Should I assume the missing letter is a B also??? Any thought are appreciated.

Those are Bore size. Mains will be stamped in the bottom corner of the main cap plate.

That makes sense. I already sent my block off to Darton for sleeves. I guess I'll just ask them to take a pic of the right ones. Thanks

So I sent my block off to Darton to get sleeved before checking the girdle. They have confirmed there is no marking on the bottom. Can anyone explain this?

If possible, have them take a close up picture of this spot on the girdle.

But I'm sure they've done enough of these blocks to know where too look..

Its possible that it was moved around the shop on the girdle making them illegible or it has excessive corrosion build up.

Your block looks like a piece broke off right where the stamp is.

Hard to tell from that angle but it looks more like it was broken off, maybe when prying the oil pan loose.

Can always just mic. Them to get the correct bearing. Or start with a middle bearing size and plastigauge to determine if you need bigger or smaller.
