Default my cabin gets really hot

Hey guys,

Might be a dumb question but my cabin gets really hot after driving. Anyone else experience that?

That's normal because of the thin insulation from the factory in the tunnel where the exhaust runs. You'll definitely notice after driving for a while and putting your top up to park--your entire interior will feel like an oven.

Oh yeah, hot all the time. The S is very thin on thermal and acoustic insulation for weight management. The direct link shifter also wicks heat up to the knob.

The result, my GF is scantily dressed when riding in the S.

A downpipe will boil the drinks in your cup holder. I had to insulate my whole console underneath to make it comfortable. The stock passenger side tunnel does get hot though.

Try feeling around the transmission tunnel next time. If you don't notice it you might want to get checked for nerve damage.

The trunk gets a lot hotter. Don't put food in there unless it is well insulated.

I have used that "feature" to keep food warm.
