Is my car leaking?!
Being the idiot that i am i forgot to go sideways when approaching a very narrow but high speed bump
and I can hear that ugly scraping going on underneath me. I pulled into a indoor parking lot, it's raining outside, to look underneath. I don't see any real bad scrapes, but i did see a little puddle dripping from under the front of the car. It's about 1 foot in from the passenger side wheel. i touched it and the fluid felt cold, was clear and odorless. I'm almost sure that it's just rain water, but i'm still worried. My car is usually parked outside and it's still raining right now so i can't double check it. If it is a leak and not just drainage, what could be leaking from that area? Or IS it normal to have drainage in that area? Thanks in advance for any help

hmm... i gotta check that out, how does the A/C look like?
When the rain stopped i went back outside to get a better look. I poured some water on the windshield and watched where the water flowed. Interestingly, on the passenger side the water actually entered the engine bay and flow over the cap to the windshield fluid, and some of the water actually miss and flow over the battery wires!! Most of the water flow to the bottom of the container for the windshield wiper fluid and drains from a hole there.
Then i got on the ground and i found where my car scratched the speed bump. It's the area behind the passenger wheel that you put the jack on. That part got pretty twisted. I'm just glad that it's not any engine component that took the punishment.
