is there leaks under the car? if so....it could be the rubber clutch line. replace it and flush your system. should be about $30 for a new line. a good aftermarket stainless line. then some good old fashin dot4-5. or dot 6 if you want the really good stuff.

Most likely it's either the slave cylinder or master cylinder. Look under the dash where the clutch rod goes through the firewall. If you see fluid there the MC is bad. If there is fluid on the slave cylinders protective boot the SC is bad. Black fluid is a giveaway that air is leaking into the system where the fluid is escaping.

I highly doubt it's the line. It is almost always the master cylinder, just look up under the dash at the back of it.

keep in mind 95% of s2k clutch master cylinders leak.

change the fluid every 5k, the leak will stop

no need to flush and bleed. Just empty the res, clean out spotless with paper towels, and fill it back up. Trust me

what if you had ATE super blue brake fluid...would you still change it around every 5k miles?

my leak stopped when I did this . Always worth trying this before changing parts as it's such an easy and inexpensive repair attempt. I now change my fluid much more regularly based on Billman's recommendation. I use Prestone Synthetic Dot3 Ford heavy duty formula. So far so good.

I had my Master and Slave go out (both were leaking badly) at the same time, Dealership got me for about $450-$500. Sucks but the clutch feels so much better after it was all replaced.
