My clutch is slipping at 5k miles?
I NEVER dropped clutch
and I had one autocross.
I always heel & toe and double clutch when I down shift.
I usualy rev-match when I shift but sometime I dont..
When I dont..This is what happends.
1st gear at 9000rpm I press the clutch, depress the gas.
Quickly change to 2nd gear, then depress the clutch, and WOT on gas at same time.
At this time RPM is around 8000rpm because I shift pretty fast.
Now clucth drops to 6000rpm pretty slowly(slipping). But usually, clutch grabs pretty fast tho.
I'm not going to do this any more because it seems like my clutch will be gone very soon if I keep doing shift like this..right?
Have you guys had any luck with clutch replacement under warrenty?
I'm thinking about ACT PP with OEM clutch replacement tho because stock set up is just too weak.

My clutch was slipping @ 4000 miles and Honda said it may be cause of my HRE's, so they told me to take them off and put the OEM rims back on, and the clutch still slipped. They dropped the tranny to see how the clutch was doing and the clutch was perfect, but the pressure plate was shot! I had a defected pressure plate. It is not the clutch that is weak, it is the pressure plate that sucks. I went with the ACT pressure plate and the OEM clutch. If you see the ACT web-site, they use the OEM clutch in their kit with a re-worked OEM pressure plate. 9000 miles with the set-up and the car feels awesome, no slipping. Take it to the dealership and tell them to check the clutch and the pressure plate and have them change it under warranty.

I can't speak to your clutch issue but you might want to read this thread:

You may be hurting your transmission with the shifting technique described above.

Yeah, you are definitely not shifting in a fashion conducive to long clutch life. Don't get back on the gas until the clutch is engaged and always rev match when downshifting.
