Default Is my clutch slipping?

I have a 2007 S2K I bought new and I have about 20,000 miles on it. Tonight I got on it pretty hard and when I shifted from first to second, it felt like the clutch slipped when i let it out. It seemed like the revs slightly came up and the car really wasnt going anywhere. I used to have a 2001 S2K and it had more miles on it and I never remember it doing this. Do you think this is do to the CDV or is the clutch wearing quickly. Generally speaking, how many miles are the factory clutches good for providing you dont drive the car that aggressive?

technically it is the clutch slipping, but it is due to the CDV. My 06 does the same thing sometimes

it tech is the CDV, but if you remove it , its still gonna slip. the heavy flywheel combined with a weak sauce presure plate = fun inhibitor.

i took my cdv out at 25k ish and mine still slipped something fierce on a money shift. my buddy with 27ish took his out and it still sips too.

the only question is if someone was too take out really early, would the clutch still slip? i will never know. i love my ap1 flywheel and clutchmasters stage 3 clutch
