really? the noise of an intake never really interest me anymore, that's could be a sign of post-boosted symdrome

Is it me, but I hear the intake at anything over 4K. It adds an addictive throaty sound, not the sucking sound I was expecting.

Just got it and installed it today, sounds pretty much stock except with the throaty sound when you get on it a bit. I'll see how much I like it after driving a bit more and when my ecu adapts to the change.
avallach, I know what you mean by it sounding throaty rather than the intake sound from other hondas with intakes.

the nice sound comes out only on more than like 50% throttle. you're probably pushing the pedal down further to hear the noise unconciously =]. i think i do too especially around the streets, but on the freeway i get better mileage than my mom's odessey so i doubt i'm dropping to 16mpg.
