So i got my clutch replaced act clutch had a defect eny way they broke my already dry rotted knock sensor all the way off. now for the past year my car has been stalling during hot days while at stop lights. if you where to turn the car on it runs but tap the gas and it struggles and cuts off.know i hooked up an safc before the knock sensor broke off and it was reading 50-300 knock?? so i was just woundering if maybe the sensor has been bad all along causing it to stall. the car has power but without a knock sesnsor i have to be losing some

yes cel and im not running the car its been parked for a week i was just asking if it was giving an incorrect reading before it finally broke off would that make my car run bad and stall out

 

this happened to me too, got my clutch installed, had a cel shortly after, car misfiring, stalled a couple times. cel said knock, checked it and it was broken off. replaced it, reset battery, went away. later found i had misfire issues from a bad air pump on my ap1 but the knock was causing the stall.

 

Its not bad + vtec wont work.

 

Well and update i bought a new honda knock sensor not cheap at all 165 bucks eny way of course code went away and it really dont stall like it used to but every now and then it will stall out. my main concern is that i keep getting a bank one and somtimes bank 2 rich code and throws a cel weird thing is within abotu 100 miles it has came on for 20 miles came off for 60 miles cam on again and off again!!?!?!! i bought a new map sensor of ebay for 45 bucks to test to see if thats my issuse. i have checked vaccum lines cleaned iacv and what not.
