Default My TCT exploded

Hey all,
Just as the title says, when i pulled my auto TCT out, everything flew out of it. I found an exploded view of it and reassembled it correctly, but i cannot get it to retract long enough to put it back in the case. Anyone have a trick to do this?

Thanks in advance,
-Zach

You have to use a bolt. Remove the back cover, stick the bolt in and screw the thing back to compress the pistion. When the piston is back, insert the pin to keep it in place. The pin is an OEM part and is referanced in the service manual. Sounds like you don't have one, and you need to get one.

I was hoping someone had the size of the bolt handy as i dont see the size listed anywhere. Will a paperclip suffice to keep the piston back or will i have to make a special trip to my Honda dealer for that pin?

The long bolt with the nut shown in this pic is what you need.

OIW, a standard M5 bolt.
4" or 100mm long.
