yeah that's the thing about this board man... I've noticed a lot of people on this board will flame all sorts of shit for no reason.

my personal assumption is that the majority of those people are older, and aren't as crazy and filled with life like the rest of us younger members. So a lot of the things we do (whether it be driving habits, mods, or whatever)... they hate on.

Just an observation, but the vast majority of S2000 owners in my area are well over thirty, closer to forty. I'm the youngest owner I've ever seen in the Atlanta area, and I've still got a few months before I turn 23. Another personal assumption to me is that the vast majority of S2000 owners probably fall into the older category. Not quite vintage, but not young enough to understand.

**** 'em. Do what's fun man, because sooner or later you'll end up like that too, once life sucks the fun out of you.
Age doesn't have much to do with understanding that something is stupid or not...

I'm 19, I won't "hate" on him for doing donuts but its definatly not my cup of tea and I feel it is stupid. Its just another dangerous act to hurt yourself, someone else, and in both ways the car. Not to say that donuts are to dangerous or anything, but doing donuts out in a parking lot somewhat frequently to "show off" alludes to the person being careless and has an ego; which all sums up to say when put in a certain situtation, he could be very dangerous on public roads endangering innocent people.

Thats very mature. Do whats fun...right go out drive 100mph crash, kill some people, and then do donuts to finish the night off with your wrecked car. A lot of people "hate" here because someone people are just very careless in their actions (mostly younger people, yes) and the last thing we want to see is ANOTHER "I crashed my s2k" in the general s2k forum. With more and more younger kids, your going to see more and more flaming going on to hopefully keep them in check.

I just turned 21, and most of the S2K owners around here are in there late 30's-40's, so I don't have hardly anybody around here who likes to have fun like me, besides stupid, little, ricer high school students who behave in an extremely wreckless manner. I never do donuts in front of people or in the eye of the public becuase of the simple fact that if that person see's my particular vehicle parked somewhere or see's me at a gas station or something, they will have the thought that, "Hey...there's that douchebag kid who i saw driving wrecklessly" I never do anything that puts myself, my passenger, or any other driver in extreme risk becuase I'm just having fun and don't want to hurt anyone. I don't weave and speed through busy rush hour traffic, I don't drift every turn I take, and I don't do donuts whenever I see any open space big enough for me to carve a perfect rubberized circle.

I started this post just to ask why my engine was cutting out power while performing a certain act which on here has become something taboo apparently for rear wheel drive vehicles. Now it has turned into a how's stupid, who's immature, who's an idiot type of deal ( like many other posts I see or start). So I'll say it now. I'm an idiot for even thinking about doing donuts and even stupider to post a technical question to which I knew would start people on there own personal, opinionative rants.

So... since I think I have my answer as to why my vehicle was behaving in the manner that it was, I will no longer discuss my own personal, late night, circular mis-adventures and keep them to myself. I will also think twice about posting any of the videos of me in my 300ZXTT or S2K on any website for fear of the slings and arrows you subjective minded people my send my way.
