Default MY07 Wiper Blades Squeaking

I picked up a 2007 LBP S2000 Oct 2010 with low mileage. I had the stock wiper blades on for a little while and went through some "SoCal rain". The wiper blades squeaked when they were at at the peak.

I promoptly switched them out for some PIAA forza hybrids. On the dry run I did after install, they did not squeak. But after running them in the rain again (a day later), they started squeaking.

Initial one to 3 wipes, it would be fine. Then, they start squeaking at the peak. It doesn't matter whether I am using them intermittently or constantly.

Do you guys think I have a bent arm or the arms need to be adjusted? I don't have a Helm's yet so I can't look that up.

Thanks.

its normal...................... you can try apply rainex on the windshield, but it will come back. run it for a while, after the blades wear out a little, it will do away

Yeah, squeaking wipers drastically reduce the value of any car. PM me and we can do a deal and I'll take it off your hands - you won't have to lose too much on the deal.

If you have wax on your windshield, your wipers will squeak. If you went through a car wash with a wax rinse in the past, that may have been enough to cause the wipers to squeak.

You need to get the wax off of your windshield. Try some dishwashing liquid like Dawn. Dont use car wash soap, since it isn't designed to cut wax. Vinegar might work as well, but I haven't tried that. Wash your wiper blades, too.
