Default MY08 Clutch

Basically I test drove a new MY07 then a MY08 and I swore the clutch felt completely different. Then I drove my friends MY07 and confirmed this difference. The MY08 clutch is longer and takes less resistance to push in. Did they put a new clutch for MY08 or adjust it?

Also is there a clutch delay valve in a MY08? If so, is it in the slave cylinder like other MY's? Ever since i increased grip (wider wheels, wider/stickier tires), I now feel my clutch slipping from time to time especially shifting into second. Is this the CDV?

Can't tell you about the MY07 and MY08 clutch difference...but all AP2's come with the same style CDV in the slave cyl.
