MK4930R has 33 splines https://momo-uk.co.uk/momo/hub-kits/...el-kit-MK4930R
MK4929R has 31 splines. https://momo-uk.co.uk/momo/hub-kits/...el-kit-MK4929R

Ok so I ordered the correct hub adapter from momo. Its the k4930 model number.

However the srs cable reel plug fouls the base of the adapter and does not allow me to fit it flush. These pictures explain it better than I can.

This is the cable reel output that fouls the base of the adapter

The rear of the adapter does not have space to allow for the feeder from the cable reel

Feeder section touches rear of the adapter

Steering hub doesnt sit flush

Its as if this section should have been milled out.

The problem in that MY07 has a taller wire feeder on the clock spring so std steering adapters will not fit

So I couldn't wait to get access to the milling machine so I used a rotary saw bit and pocketed it manually

I still need to cut out a bit more for clearance on the left side but it seems to fit now.

Right hand aide was easier to cut for some reason

The fit and placement looks ok to me

Do you think this it is far enough down the splines?

Bolt goes on and tightens.

Just needs a touch more with a file tomorrow

The bolt should bottom out on something. If the spline base is already bottomed out then your ok, but if it isnt then you need to go further down till the base bottoms out.

measure the top of the spline to the base, thats how long the spline boss should be on the hub
