Default Need advice about a new clutch

I'm getting a little clutch slippage when I shift at high RPM's and loosing speed because of it. I have done a search on the board and found only bits and pieces of advice and information. I drive conservatively most of the time so I need something thats streetable and smooth. I also want to take full advantage of my turbo without breaking anything in the drivetrain. Has anyone found a great combination of materials/styles of clutch that would work in my situation? (Especially fellow FI people) How about flywheel ideas while I'm at it? Thanks!

yup, I have a few suggestions for you. I'll try to send you a PM later, but in the meantime: http://www.importdevelopment.net/s2000/drivetrain.php

I have the comptech flywheel and star clutch kevlar combo and and i'm not 100 % satisfied. The clutch disk is buzzing a lot when decelerating and i have to make clutch dropping style launch when accelerating hard to avoid clutch slippage. The clutch is engaging too high ( The clutch pedal is almost all released when the clutch engage !!! )
The flywheel is a good piece of art and instead of drill holes at the edge of it to take some weight, they machined it. ( I'll try to post a pic )
But what i really like about it is the engine response when matching engine revs.and car speed when decelerating.

I have the Comptech flywheel, ACT pressure plate and 2002 stock disk. I really like this combination it hooks up good much better than stock, has good pedal feel stiffer than stock. It also picks up near the stock spot maybe a little lower. I recommend!

Me too! Ive been through exedy, clutchmasters, and a jun clutch. None of them have lasted as long as my act clutch kit.

This is not a problem with the clutch. This is a simple adjustment of the clutch pedal. The Helm's manual describes the adjustment procedure. The pushrod from the pedal to the clutch master cylinder needs to be shortened a bit.
