need advice on the clutch

Unhappy need advice on the clutch

ok so my or should I say "our" clutch feels resistance once you press it in correct? well as of a few days ago, i now have to go like half way to get resistance im getting really worried....should i be worried whats going on here. I know its gonna cost an arm and a leg and a left nut to replace it/labor and what not.

Calm down. Have you bled the clutch? here is a great write up on it. http://forums.s2kca.com/showthread.php?t=12154

Try this first and see what happens.

My clutch went soft one day kind of suddenly.
I did a flush and it solved my problem immediately.

Yea I just checked out the fluid and dumped some DOT4 in and it works good now. That write up was cool but not enough pictures but thanks anyways

bleed the clutch and clean out the reservoir.

^and dont use dot 4.

owners manual says dot4 is a no no.

What happens when you put DOT4 in? and why is it a no no cause...I think I did : /

I needed a new master cylinder to fix this when it happened to me. The pedal eventually just went to the floor with no resistance and the shifter wouldn't go into gear anymore. Cost me $387 to have the dealer fix it

Im assuming this is what I used because the manual says to use DOT 4 and so far its been using going good why won't DOT 4 be good???? I do need to flush and fill it though but Im confused and getting kinda worried here
