Default Need Advice- My S pulls to the left @ high speed accelerations

I recently got my S back from an accident where I lost my back end damaging my rear right quater-panel, suspension, etc.

The bodyshop did a great job repairing my baby but I noticed that when I accelerate at high speeds (+50mph), the car "pulls" to the left only to return back once I let go of the throttle. The alignment seems perfect on local streets and I can only notice this problem on the hwy.

Do you guys have any suggestions on why this is happening? Please advise. Thank you.

Check the air pressure in your tires.

Thank you to all-especially Fsures.

I checked the air pressure and discovered that the rear right tire was over 60 psi! Brought it down to 32psi and all is well.

Thanks again...you guys rock!

Still check your alignment. Many body shops dont take the extra step and actually do an alignment on the car. Just cause it goes straight doesn't mean it's still ok.

I have the EXACT same problem with my S. Except my tire pressures are all good and exactly the same on the left and right. I have had the car aligned 3 times, and it will be fine for a couple hours then it will start acting up again.

I have no idea what to do.

Mine does pulls to the right but its because i have a radial pull on the tires. Just wondering if you checked that.

Has the car been in any kind of accident?? Because your frame might be slightly bent. I would measure the diagonals of the frame to make sure its spot on. If not, you can take it to a body shop and they'll pull back into shape.
