Need advice!...Wideband sensor data logging question
I'm installing my wideband sensor and there are two 0-5 volt inputs for data logging on my blackbox.
I try to find out with signal would be more important for wideband tuning.
The ECU gives me:
1) IAT (INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR)
2) ECT (ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR)
3) TPS (THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR)
4) MAP (MANIFOLD ABSOLUTE PRESSURE SENSOR)
My black box allows 2 input plus RPM.
Any suggestions ??

with the s/c or turbo in future, you are clamping the MAP so it will not see boost, so that will not do you much good. ECT should be fairly constant once running, so i would go with TPS and IAT. this would let you see if you were on the gas and IAT will let you see if you are approaching level of ambient temp + boost increases to point of ignition timing being adjusted from getting to hot of an intake charge.
