Default Need help!

hey guys, in the morning when I warm the car up to 3 bars on the temp part of the dash, i usually drive out and at the stoplight, i may rev the car up to around 3000 rpm. however when the revs come back down, it drops below 500 rpm (usualyl 2 bars left- 200rpm) cuasing the car to shake like its going to stall. What could be my problem? this only happens for the first 15 mins, but afterwards the car seems fine again

thx for ur help

Seems about normal...not a big issue... but, did ya check throttle cable tension? I dunno about the s2k, but my old integra had a screw on the TB to control the idle speed, that might help too. Anyone else chime in?

I have the same thing. Decided to live with it. Don't trust mechanics.

Under certain conditions (time of year, ambient temp, humidity, barometric pressure, engine temp, etc.), "blipping" the throttle like that just confuses the ECU (so don't do it ) and it can't quite "pick up" the idle fast enough. Given time and an opportunity for the ECU to "learn", it will stop doing it on it's own. It's partially to do with the MAP sensor having a bad day. Do the "MAP whack" and ECU reset to get it to learn faster. For me, I just leave it alone and it goes away by itself.
