Default NEED HELP

Took the car to Honda and informed them that the rear started to vibrate and was loose during acceleration. They told me it was my tires but I just purchased new tires about a month ago and they are in prestine condition. Anyway, i then took the car to my mechanic and he said its probably the rear driver side axle, he said that the bearings go out that are placed somewhere in between the cv boot/joint. He also said it was a common problem with our vehicle and to just ask someone on the board. Anyone know about this problem occuring in our vehicle. I contacted Honda and informed them of the problem and they said my warranty does cover it, i just need to know exactly what part I needed to order through them. Please, any help would be much appreciated.

He's right, if it's under warranty then just goto a dealership and they have to fix it.

Tell the dealer it's the CV joint going. They should have a TSB in their computer system about it and they should fix it.

I'm with Xviper. Seen it plenty of times. Inner CV joint. Those out of warranty can swap the CV drive buckets from side to side and be good as new again.
