Default Need help....

Well.....I prolly don't have enough info but Sometimes specially in the mornings, after the car its been off the whole night when I try to start it up it will *cough* the first try and then it will start up but like form 150 rpms, it will take about 2 sec before going to the normal idling rpms.....does this happens to anybody...? I got a AEM Cold Air and it sounds like the *cough* comes from there.....Thanks a lot ...Any comments will be appreciated....

I think the operative word is "sometimes". I believe many of us have had this experience. My car was a couple of weeks old when it first showed this characteristic. The weather (season) was changing and the engine did what you described for about 3 to 4 morning cold starts. Without any help from me (like forcing the gas to help it start and idle), the ECU learned and didn't do it again till about one year later, when the season changed once again. This continued for about 3 year straight. On the fourth year, it didn't do it and it hasn't done it since. It just "learned". Unless your car does it continuously for a very long period of time, don't worry about it. The ECU is fairly dynamic in that it can generally figure stuff like this out. Just don't "help" it.
